Senior Boys GAA 2023:
The lads have made it through to the semi final of the Senior South Leinster championships this year. They are the current U16 champions so they hopefully can make get to the final this year.
They beat Colaiste Ceatharlach of Carlow in the last group game. The score was 5-12 to 2-12. Ewan Morris (2), Jay O' Brien, Adam Quinn and Cormac Houlihan scored the goals. Superb performances from Conor Clancy, Tadgh Donlon, Jack Downes, Daniel Cox and Ryan Murphy. Special mention to 3rd year Jamie Wall who came on to make his senior debut in goals and to Jamie Butler who also came on after a long term injury.
Boy's Senior / Under 16 Football 2017/2018
The Junior panels first match was at home to Kilbeggan. Dispite some fine performances we were unable to match our opponents. Their next match was against Rathangan. We had home advantage and delivered a great first half performance. In the second half Rathangan came back into the match, but we hung on for a good win. The final group match was against Tullamore. This turned out to be a very competitive affair. We missed a few chances late in the match and narrowly lost to the home team. Hopefully this year’s disappointment will lead to a more successful campaign next year. Mr Hartnett and Mr FitzGerald would like to thank the lads for their efforts.
The Senior panel began training back in September. Their opening match was against Hacketstown, last year’s South Leinster Champions. This was a very close contest and even with home advantage we narrowly lost out. There were fine performances form Chris O'Mahony, James Ebbs and Leon Tsang. Mr Hartnett and Mr FitzGerald would like to thank the lads for their efforts and wish the 6th year players all the best in their future playing careers.
Boy's Under 14 Football 2017/2018
Kildare Town Community School Under 14 boys squad began training after school on Wednesdays with good numbers and interest levels shown.
After three weeks of training we played our first match of the group stage against a very strong Kilcullen side on our home pitch in late September. The concession of goals was the main difference between the teams, as Kilcullen scored at will particularly in the first half. A very good second half display by KTCS saw the gap narrowed but Kilcullen saw out the game to seal the points.
The second and final group stage game took KTCS to Pipers Hill, Naas where a comprehensive win was well earned playing some lovely football at times.
We were paired with Kilkenny CBS in the quarter finals, where our season was to end in October. A brilliant effort was made by the KTCS lads, however, a very tall, athletic Kilkenny side with plenty of physicality out muscled us on the day to advance in the competition.
Overall the U14 KTCS lads put in a fantastic effort in both trainings and matches.

Senior Ladies GAA 2017/2018
The Senior ladies GAA team had some very talented players this year and as a result we won two out of our three matches. In their first match they were up against Presentation Carlow, this match they saw out with ease with an incredible winning score line of 11-17 to 5-04. Their next match was a much tougher battle that saw them up against Ardscoil na Trionoide, Athy. A hard battle was fought with KTCS losing narrowly. This loss drove KTCS on to our next match against a very strong Scoil Mhuire, Clane. KTCS fought hard and won with some to spare. The group ended with three teams with the same number of wins, therefore it came down to scoring difference. We were very unlucky to not go through to the next round and missed out narrowly on scoring difference. Some key players this year will be very much missed next year when they leave KTCS after five great years of football.
