This year we held our sports day on the 20th of September. We were blessed with an amazing sunning day that brought great fun and enthusiasm from all involved. The day began with the fun run and treasure hunt followed by Badminton, puc fada and rounders. The halls were alight with laughter and banter as students chatted and competed in their various fields.
After break saw possibly the most competitive section of our schedule. With a strong tradition of soccer and basketball within the school, some of our most talented students went head to head in the soccer and basketball leagues. The finals of which were described as spectacular by the referees and both tournaments attracted great crowds of spectators.
The day ended with the lighthearted novelty races. While a little less skillful and graceful than the morning competitions it was no less competitive.
