We had a busy year starting with our Climate Change workshops in October 2018. This was followed by a number of Poster Competitions and symposiums. After Christmas we took on our cycle to school challenge which encouraged students and staff to cycle to school. Our action day took place in March this year, and out theme was travel. We had a number of speakers in and webinars in the library at lunchtime. We also had raffles. Mrs. Murphy also organised our national walking week where students and staff were encouraged to walk to school. Furthermore, we had a civvies day to raise funds for another green school based in Bali, with the support of Ms. Leahy. Finally, we linked with Tidy Towns and this Thursday (May 16th), we hope to do our annual litter pick with our local bio-diversity officer who is coming in to speak with the students on the Green School's committee.
